Corporate Wine Tasting – Fun and informative
Amongst a host of different corporate events that are available to companies today, corporate wine tasting must rank as being one of the most entertaining and informative of them all. Set up by a group of wine lovers, Grape Debate specialise in organising entertaining wine tasting events that can be held either on site at a company’s own premises, or away from the office at a location they recommend, which is well suited to their events, or somewhere else specified by the customer.

There are many challenges that can be arranged, most of which relate to wine, but there are also others, one which focuses on chocolate and the other on beers. Of the wine tasting events, the Grape Debate wine challenge is the most popular. With teams at the corporate wine tasting event split into groups of between 4 and 12, deemed the best number for natural competitiveness to develop and team interaction, a short fifteen minute introduction on sensory exploration, methods of wine tasting, is given by the wine tasting host. Anonymous wines are then dished out throughout the course of the event, and the teams have to decide, with their new found knowledge, where the wine originates from, what grape has been used to produce the wine, and how much it would cost in the shops. Prizes are up for grabs to the winners, but ultimately everyone walks away merry, not only from the wine, but from the opportunity to build better relationships with work colleagues.
